疑問の形と間接話法
言葉の順序
通常の言葉の順序が間接話法で使われます。つまり主語が動詞の前に来て、'do'や 'did'を使う必要はありません:

Yes / noの質問
このタイプの質問は、'ask' + 'if / whether' +文節を使って尋ねます:

質問詞
このタイプの質問は、'ask' (または 'ask'のような動詞) + 質問詞 + 文節で、通常の言葉の順序で、必要な時制に変えたものです。
